Zhaodi Wu
Wu Zhaodi was a director and screenwriter in Mainland China and graduated from Beijing Film Academy. In 1948, he co-created the opera "Steel Bone and Iron Tendons" with Su Li and Wu Yin, which was later adapted into the drama "Iron Warrior" by Cheng Yin. In 1954, he served as the deputy director of the industrial film "Infinite Potential". In 1955, he co-directed the war film "Plain Guerrillas" with Suri, which won the third prize of the Excellent Film of the Ministry of Culture of China. In 1957, he independently directed his first film "Underground Vanguard". On September 3, 1992, Wu Zhaodi died of illness at the age of 72.
